Chennai: In a six-part series featuring Delhi-based Seedhe Mautas masters of ceremony, eight finalists from across the country spent a week being mentored by the best in the business – including Brodha V, Sofia Ashraf, D’evil, Naezy and more – learning and battling each other in a series of challenges.
In the grand finale of the hunt of India’s next rap superstar, titled Red Bull Spotlight, judged by Divine, EmiwayBantai, Dee MC and Naezy, they went head-to-head for the title.
The series can be streamed free on MX Player. The winner walks away with the opportunity to record a full-length album at a professional studio, a music video and more.
