Puducherry: The Puducherry Union Territory administration has decided to impose night curfew between 10 pm and 5 am from today to contain the spread of Covid-19.
Hotels have been asked to close by 8 pm and allow only parcel service later. The Beach Road will be closed by 5 pm.
Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has said mobile vaccination vans are already pressed into service to administer vaccines to the public in the crowded places.
The government and private hospitals are fully equipped with adequate arrangements like beds, ventilators, medicines etc.
Meanwhile, Health Secretary Dr Arun said that special vaccination camps have been arranged in many places.
