Chennai: Tamilnadu government today announced extension of lockdown till 14 June with some relaxations.The announcement was made today after Chief Minister M K Stalin held discussions with officials on Friday to discuss the situation. Chief Secretary V Irai Anbu, Director-General of Police J K Tripathy and senior officials were present.
Withh more number of cases being reported from Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Nilgiri, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai and Tiruppur districts permission has been given for only essential services. However, more relaxations have been announced for the rest of the districts.
