Chennai: Tamilnadu Health Minister M Subramanian today said that strict action will be taken against those who assault doctors and nurses.
He made the statement after incidents of relatives of patients attacking doctors and nurses have been reported in some places.
He further said that action will be taken against private hospitals who flout the rules and collect exorbitant fees from Covid patients. The Minister today inspected healthcare facilities in Chennai.
