Ram Charan shared an update about SS Rajamouliās next film, RRR. The crew and cast members are set to begin shooting for the film as the government in Telangana eased lockdown restrictions.
Slated for release on October 13, RRR features an ensemble cast with Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran in pivotal roles.
One of the most anticipated films of 2021,Ā RRRĀ will finally resume shooting post lockdown 2.0. Ram Charan took to his Instagram stories to share the update. He shared a picture of himself as Alluri Sitarama Raju with his make-up artist/hairstylist Aalim Hakim.
Flaunting his signature moustache from the film, he wrote, RRR begins post lockdown 2.0 (sic).
RRRĀ is set against the backdrop of the pre-independence era. It revolves around the journey ofĀ Komaram Bheem, played by Jr NTR, andĀ Alluri Sitarama Raju, portrayed by Ram Charan. Alia Bhatt, who makes her Tollywood debut with the film, plays the female lead opposite Ram Charan. Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran will be seen in an extended cameo. RRR is set to hit the theatres on October 13.
