Chennai: With L Murugan becoming Union Minister, a guessing game is on as to who would be the next president of the Tamilnadu unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Political circles are rife with speculations that either Nainar Nagendran or Annamalai would be appointed to the post.
While Nainar Nagendran is a former AIADMK Minister, Annamalai is a former IPS officer.
Nagendran is one among the four from the BJP who won the recently concluded Assembly elections, while Annamalai lost the polls.
It is said that the high command would pick one from these two for the important post.
