Chennai: US Consulate General Chennai featured 2021 Grammy-nominated Indian American singer Priya Darshini and the House of Waters band virtual concert as part of US Mission India’s #DiasporaDiplomacy series Wednesday.
According to a press note, the virtual concert, supported by US Department of State’s Arts Envoys Program, was live-streamed on the Consulate General Chennai’s Facebook page.
Priya Darshini has roots in Indian classical music and her debut album Periphery was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Age Album.
