Srinagar: Three Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on today. According to police officials, the encounter started in the upper reaches of the forest area of Nagbaeran Tral in Awantipora after police and army launched a search operation early Saturday morning.
The search operation turned into an encounter after the militants fired upon the search party of the security forces, who retaliated.
“In the ensuing gunfight, three terrorists affiliated with JeM outfit were killed,” the officials said.
