Chennai: The Chennai Branch of ISKCON in Sholinganallur will conduct Lord Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations on 30 August, Monday through online mode.
“Due to the ongoing pandemic and government restrictions placed on events to avoid crowding, ISKCON Chennai will live stream the entire Janmashtami festival on its YouTube channel. Devotees are requested to watch the celebrations online and avoid coming to the temple. Temple will be closed to all visitors on Monday and Tuesday,” a release said.
On 30 August, there will be Nama Sankirtana from 10 am Onwards. Abhishekam will be performed for Sri Sri Radha Krishna at 10.30 pm.
“At 11.30 pm, there will be darshan and arati commemorating the Divine appearance of Lord Krishna at midnight,” it added.
