London: There are reports doing rounds from Leeds that Raveendra Jadeja taken to hospital following a knee injury. Sources say in all probability Ravichandran Ashwin might replace Jadeja for the next Test starting 2 September in Oval.
TheĀ track which is known to offer help to the slow bowlers. Ashwin had played a County game for Surrey before the Test series, taking six wickets in an innings.
Earlier, JadejaĀ is reported to have injured his knee while fielding during the England innings on Day 2.
Jadeja shared a picture of him from a hospital in Leeds on his Instagram story. He wrote: ‘Not a good place to be at’.
