Chennai: Team ‘Intelli-Sense’ comprising Dr Velmathi G and four students Venkat Ragavan S, Vishwath Kumar B S, Yogeeshwar S, Tarun A H of VIT Chennai participated in the ‘AICTE Vishwakarma Awards 2020’ organised by All India Council for Technical Education on ‘India’s Economic Recovery Post Covid; Reverse Migration and Rehabilitation Plan to support Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
According to a press note, the team was awarded first prize in the eighth category ‘other necessary support’ for presenting an innovative solution of ‘Vision – The AI Powered Visual Assistant for Blind’.
The team received the award from Minister of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan in Exhibition and Award Distribution Ceremony of Chhatra Vishwakarma Awards 2020 conducted at All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
