Chennai: A man who allegedly posted obscene pictures and videos in his son’s school WhatsApp group was arrested at Avadi in the city.
According to the police, the 39-year-old man, identified as B Munusamy, was working in a private company and his 11-year-old son is a Class 6 student of a private school.
The action was taken based on a complaint from the school headmaster in Avadi that such pictures were being received from the contact number of the student.
Probe revealed that the father of the student concerned had shared such pictures and videos in his son’s school Whatsapp group, the police said, adding the man has been since arrested and remanded to custody.
Allegedly under the influence of alcohol, the man shared some obscene photographs and videos in the WhatsApp group where all the teachers and parents are a part.
