New Delhi: India’s daily Covid graph showed improvement today as the country logged 14,306 fresh cases in 24 hours, which is 10 per cent lower than yesterday. The country also recorded 443 deaths due to Covid-19 in the same time period.
India’s active caseload stands at 1.67 lakh; lowest in 239 days. Out of 14,306 new cases and 443 deaths in the country, Kerala reported 8,538 new cases and 71 deaths.
The recovery rate is currently at 98.18 per cent. At least 18,762 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. The total number of people who have recovered is 3,35,67,367.
The weekly positivity rate stood at 1.24 per cent and the daily positivity rate at 1.43 per cent, according to the Health Ministry.
In an apparent sign of the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic receding, the daily rise in new coronavirus infections has been below 30,000 for 31 straight days and less than 50,000 daily new cases have been reported for 120 consecutive days now.
