New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has questioned the state of human rights in Uttar Pradesh after a 22-year-old died in police custody in Kasganj.
‘Is there anything called human rights left in Uttar Pradesh?’ Rahul asked in a tweet in Hindi. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said the law and order situation in UP was ‘very bad’.
Meanwhile, Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has responded to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘pickpocket’ barb at the government over the levy of high taxes on petrol and diesel, and described him as a ‘jeb katra’ who would not understand what capital expenditure is.
