Chennai: A total of 7,85,50,943 crore Covid vaccine jabs were administered to people in Tamilnadu till Saturday.
An official release here said of this 4,81,57,452 people have taken the first dose and 3,03,93,41 have taken their second dose of vaccination.
Meanwhile, the 15th round of mega Covid vaccination camp was organised in 50,000 centres across the State, including about 1,600 camps in all wards of the Chennai city.
Chief Minister M K Stalin inspected one of the vaccination centres before launching the the Innuyir Kaappom–Nammai Kaakkum-48 scheme (Saving precious lives, Saving our lives in 48 hours).
