Chennai: AIADMK coordinator and former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam today urged Chief Minister M K Stalin to not blame the previous AIADMK regime for the current situation of the State.
‘Even after fully knowing the financial position of Tamilnadu, Stalin made tall promises before the polls and is now blaming the AIADMK regime for not being able to fulfil them,’ he said.
Panneerselvam said the AIADMK offered a transparent welfare government to Tamilnadu and implemented so many schemes.
He urged Stalin to send 34 DMK MPs to Delhi to press the Centre to release necessary funds for Tamilnadu. ‘DMK government should focus on constructive measures rather than shying away from its responsibility by blaming the AIADMK,’ he added.
