Coimbatore: The Nilgiris district police questioned Vivek Jayaraman, nephew of expelled AIADMK general secretary V K Sasikala, in the Kodanadu dacoity-cum-murder-case on Wednesday.
Vivek, the CEO of Jaya TV, was asked to appear before the investigating team in Coimbatore and was questioned by a team led by Western Region Inspector General R Sudhakar, IPS. The Kodanadu estate was frequented by late Tamilnadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha.
Reports said the police wanted to know what valuable items and files, among other documents, were bestowed at the estate and whether anything has gone missing.
The team has already questioned more than 30 people, including the manager of Kodanadu Estate in Nilgiris district. The estate served as a retreat for Jayalalithaa, where a watchman was murdered and a few documents were reportedly stolen in 2017.
