Veteran social activist Lakshminarasimhan passes away

Chennai: Veteran social activist C Lakshminarasimhan, popularly known as C L Narasimhan, passed away in Chennai Sunday evening after a sudden stroke. He was 89.

An ardent follower of Rajaji, he served in Aavin Chennai and retired as Milk Inspector.

He spent his post-retirement era as writer of letters to popular English newspapers, including ‘News Today’ covering topical issues. His last article was about Ukraine crisis.

He had voiced his opinion in bold manner in various social causes. He was hailed as a man of discipline, character and respect for fellow human beings.
