Actor Bharath’s 50th film was officially launched today. Starring Vani Bhojan as the female lead, the untitled project will mark the debut of writer RP Bala as a director and producer. Bala is known for writing the Tamil dialogues and lyrics for the dubbed version of Malayalam films like Lucifer, Maraikkayar, and Kurup.
The film will be a family drama with thriller elements. As a producer, I introduced Bharath to three different scripts written by other directors but he was keen on doing a film that would create a positive impact on his career like how Kadhal did. When he heard the story of this film, he was impressed, says Bala.
The film, which will go on floors from Monday, will be bankrolled by Bala’s RP Films. Also starring Radha Ravi, Vivek Prasanna, Daniel Annie Pope and a bunch of debutants, the film will have cinematography by PG Muthiah and music by Ronnie Raphael.
