Let’s break all the divide in Indian film industry. Burn all woods. Make Indian cinema an identity in the world, said actor Yash.

‘KGF has brought repute to south cinema especially Kannada cinema. All praise should go to my filmmaker and technicians. I should get least credit. KGF Chapter 2 will be more big’, he added.

KGF Chapter 2, produced by Hombale Films and directed by Prashanth Neel stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Dutt, Prakashraj among others. It will hit the screens in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi on 14 April.

The Tamil version would be presented by Dream Warriors. The trailer of KGF Chapter 2 in five langauges was launched by acclaimed Kannada actor and son of late Kannada thespian Dr Shivraj Kumar.

On his part, SR Prabhu of Dream Warriors said, ‘It is my pleasure to be involved with the project. It is a big film and price of Indian cinema. To release the film is a big honour. I am confident that the movie would do well across the nation’.

Yash has given a wonderful film. All credits for his hard work, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, actor Prithviraj, who will be presenting the film in Malayalam said, ‘I am eagerly waiting to see KGF Chapter 2 in theatres from 14 April. Much recently, I happened to meet Yash at an event and urged him to do KGF 2 more bigger and grand because I had faith on it. The part one set a new trend and went on to become big across India’.

Stating that it is a proud moment for south cinema, he added, ‘It is the time for amalgamation in Indian film industry. Let us break all barriers and join hands and do cinema for India. Let there be no woods’.

Actress Raveena Tandon, who is also part of KGF Chapter 2 said, ‘Filmmaker Prashanth is a thorough gentleman. Wonderful working with him. He is thorough professional. Yash is a rocking human being. He is a fantastic person. He made us feel comfortable on the sets’

KGF Chapter 2 was a lesson for me. All about dedication and being professional. It made me understand that all are a family when we do a movie. Yash has been a beautiful co-star and humble always.

Srinidhi Shetty, who plays the heroine, says, ‘I signed the project in 2016. All were supportive and the journey all through the film was memorable. Thankful to Yash who has been my best co-star. The whole crew worked relentlessly to give a good output. Audience will enjoy and relish the film’.

Filmmaker Prashanth Neel, on his part, said, ‘Its been eight years since we started the journey. Did everything possible to tell the story. I can’t wait for all to watch the movie.’

‘Thanks to all for making KGF a big success and getting Kannada cinema a prominent place place in Indian film industry’, he said.

I have best technical team by my side and without them KGF is impossible I would say, said the director.
He also thanked the presenters of the film in various languages for the belief kept on the team KGF Chapter 2.

‘Srinidhi Shetty has got a bigger role in Chapter 2. None of the actors we selected were for the market. They suited the role to T. Impressive they were with their performance.’

‘When KGF Chapter 2 is out on 14 April, all will understand why Yash is called Rock Star affectionately by all. Yash is like a modern cellphone with all features. He nurtured me well. He gave me confidence. At many places, he even wrote dialogues. He can act well too’.

I want to dedicate all good things of KGF Chapter 2 over the last eight years to late Dr Puneeth Rajkumar. He is our pride, he added.

Yash said, ‘We miss Puneeth sir a lot. The journey of Hombale was started by Puneeth.’
I am attached to my industry. I am the person who should get least credit. All praise should go to my Kannada cinema and its technicians.’

All credit should go to Hombale Films. He gave our dreams an opportunity to come true. It is Prashanth Neel’s film and I was just a part of it. He loves his heroes. And when every filmmaker starts loving his lead star, he will get the best from him’.

The zeal to prove ourselves from our industry to others brought out the best from them, he added.

‘Raveena is a fantastic actress while Sanjay Dutt is a great fighter. Amidst all his health complications, Sanjay Dutt came good in stunt sequences and has taken the movie to other level. I am your greatest fan’, said Yash.

Hats off to my heroine Srinidhi Shetty for keeping faith in us and waited patiently for five years to be part of the project. She ia lucky that her first film is being released in five languages, he said.

He expressed his gratitude to actress Malavila for her involvement in the project.

Vijaykumar of Hombale Films also spoke on the occasion. Bollywood filmmaker and producer Karan Johar hosted the show.

Let's break all the divide in Indian film industry. Burn all woods. Make Indian cinema an identity in the world said actor Yash.
