New Delhi: With 1,259 fresh infections, India’s Coronavirus caseload rose to 4,30,21,982.
According to Union Health Ministry data updated this morning, the country’s Covid-19 death toll climbed to 5,21,070 with 35 fresh fatalities.
The number of active cases of the infection further declined to 15,378 and India has so far conducted over 78.79 crore Covid-19 tests.
The number of people who have recuperated from the disease has gone up to 4,24,85,534.
The number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the country so far has exceeded 183.53 crore.
India’s Covid-19 tally had crossed the 20-lakh mark on 7 August, 2020, 30 lakh on 23 August, 2020, 40 lakh on 5 September, 2020 and 50 lakh on 16 September, 2020.
It went past 60 lakh on 28 September, 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October, 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October, 2020, 90 lakh on 20 November, 2020 and the one-crore mark on 19 December, 2020.
The country crossed the grim milestone of two crore Covid cases on 4 May, 2021 and the three-crore mark on 23 June.
