Chennai: CII Dakshin 2022 South India Media & Entertainment Summit organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Southern Region is scheduled to be held on 9 and 10 April at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai.

M K Stalin, Chief Minister of Tamilnadu has will inaugurate the CII Dakshin on 9 April 2022 at the Chennai Trade Centre.

The objective of Dakshin is to bring together relevant stakeholders in the M&E space to share and learn from best practices, celebrate achievements, advance knowledge, identify opportunities and network with peers for progression.

Through keynote talks, panel discussions and fireside chats, this summit will lay the roadmap for the resurgence of the M&E sector. The summit will have the presence of CEOs, Artists, Exhibitors, Producers, Startups, Visual Effect Heads, Editors of dailies and magazines, Presidents of OTT platforms and writers.

CII is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organization, with over 9000 members from the private as well as public sectors, including SMEs and MNCs, and an indirect membership of over 300,000 enterprises from 294 national and regional sectoral industry bodies. For more than 125 years, CII has been engaged in shaping India’s development journey and works proactively on transforming Indian Industry’s engagement in national development.
