Chennai: With the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU) reportedly delaying the release of first year B Ed results, more than 50,000 students may miss an opportunity to apply for the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET).
Not just that, candidates applying for TET have their fingers crossed as they seem to be bogged down by the dismal pass percentage in the past.
Coaching teacher trainers, reports said though the validity of TET has been converted from seven years to ‘life time’, the main challenge is in getting through the exam for the candidates.
As far as results are concerned, the last date of applying for the recruitment exam is 13 April, and there is little chance for the results to be released before that, it is said.
