Chennai: The Guindy police in the city have registered a case against a swimmer for sexually abusing a girl during the training session inside a pool of the Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu (SDAT) in Velacheri.
According to the complainant, who was learning swimming at the SDAT pool, she was often teased by the swimmer identified as Srivatsan.
After the girl complained to her father about the inappropriate behaviour of the fellow swimmer, a complaint was filed at the Guindy police station.
A case has been registered and investigations are on.
