Nenjukku Needhi speaks about a serious issue that is most relevant for the day, says Udhayanidhi Stalin. The movie produced by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Project LLP in association with Romeo Pictures Rahul features Udhayanidhi in the lead role.
Tanya Ravichandran, Shivani Rajasekar, Aari, Mayilsamy, Chakravarthy are also in the cast. Music is by Dibu Ninan Thomas.
A remake of Bollywood hit Article 15, it is directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and is gearing up for worldwide release on 20 May.
The audio and trailer launch of this film took place in Chennai.
Speaking on the occasion, Udhayanidhi, said, ‘Nenjukku Needhi is going to be really special for everyone. This film is based on an incident that happened in Uttar Pradesh.
The whole team led by Arunraja Kamaraj have done well.’
Producer Boney Kapoor said, ‘I thank Udhayanidhi Stalin for accepting this movie. Rahul has been a great support in nurturing this project. Arunraja Kamaraj has made sure it doesn’t look like a remake. It is filled with native elements and emotions’.
On his part RJ Balaji, a special guest for the event said, ‘Nenjukku Needhi will be a ath-breaking movie in the Tamil industry.’
Actor Sivakarthikeyan who was part of the audio launch event, said, ‘My friend Arunraja Kamaraj always wanted to make good movies. I read one of the YouTube comment for the film’s teaser, where it was mentioned that tbe frames in ‘Nenjukku Needhi are more like Zack Snyder, the famous Hollywood director. I am glad that Arun has made a great film’.
Producers Anbuchezhiyan, Sathyajothi Thyagarajan, filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni and the cast and crew of the movie spoke the occasion.
