Chennai :Ā  Tamilnadu Chief Minister M K Stalin Wednesday presented the FIEO Southern Region Export Excellence Awards at an event organised by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations. The event saw the participation of top business leaders from various industries and awards were presented in multiple categories.
In his address, the Chief Minister congratulated the award winners and listed out various industry-friendly efforts being taken by Tamilnadu government.

He said the State was among the top destinations for investors from across the world. FIEO president A Sakthivel said, ‘with dedication, determination, diligence,
involvement, good governance, selfless hardwork, proactive approach, our Chief Minister has made TN one of the investment friendly States internationally.’
‘The conducive atmosphere in the State is an added advantage for the investors’. FIEO regional chairman Israr Ahmed said Tamilnadu accounts for more than
40 per cent of all exports from the Southern States.
