Actress Nayanthara married her long-time lover director Vignesh Shivan at a grand event in Mahabalipuram.
The wedding, held as per Hindu rituals, saw friends and family members of both Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan in attendance.
Actors Rajinikanth, Shahrukh Khan, Ajith and Vijay Sethupathi among others graced the occasion. Film personalities including Boney Kapoor,Ā Maniratnam, KS Ravikumar, Mohan Raja, Udhaynidhi Stalin, Shalini Ajith, Nelson, Anirudh, Krthi, Sarath Kumar, Divyadarshini, Priyanka, Vasanth Ravi, AL Vijay, Atlee, Kala master, Archana Kalpathi were also present.
As per reports, the newly- wed couple were dressed as bride and groom in Jade by Monica outfits.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan tied the knot in a huge glass mandap that has been erected at Sheraton Park Hotel for the grand wedding.
The couple reportedly had a mehendi and sangeet ceremony on June 7 at Mahabalipuram in their wedding venue and the guests were given water bottles featuring their picturess and stages of Vignesh Shivan and Nayantharaās love story.
