At a time when the AIADMK has been alleging that law & order situation in Tamilnadu has deteriorated, Union Minister and BJP leader L Murugan said Tamilnadu becomes unsafe due to rise in crimes, whenever DMK comes to power.
Speaking to reporters at Salem, Murugan said, ‘If DMK is in power, then crimes such as murders, sexual assaults and law and order issues get worse’.

A few days ago, Chief Minister M K Stalin slammed the Opposition parties for needlessly faulting his government on the law and order issue and said the situation was stable as a result of which the state had drawn the attention of investors.

Rejecting the charge of the Opposition parties that law and order had deteriorated in the state, he said after taking up the reins as the Chief Minister he had transformed Tamilnadu into an Eden of Peace.
