Maayon – ( Movie Review)

Maayon, directed by Kishore, features Tanya Ravichandran, Sibi Sathyaraj, K S Ravi Kumar and Radha Ravi in lead characters, is an engaging adventure drama with twists and turns.

Bagavathi Perumal and Hareesh Peradi are also in the cast.

In a nutshell, the movie is about an archaeological team that is assigned to research an ancient temple which is headed by a shrewd and tactful archaeologist.

The team embarks on a quest of exploration, unraveling the mystery. The writing is good and manages to leave impact at few places. The CGI impresses. In a nutshell, the story looks good, but the execution could have been better..

Sibiraj does a good show. He does his part well but could have given more screen space for him. Tanya is cute and gets a major share. Music by Ilaiyaraaja gives soul for the subject.

Besides producing, Arun Mozhi Manickam has penned the screenplay too. An adventure journey is the attempt.
