Tehran: Iran and the European Union have announced the resumption of indirect negotiations between Iran and the US in the coming days to revive the Iranian nuclear pact.
Making the remarks at a joint televised press conference with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, visiting European Union (EU) Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell said the talks will resume “quickly” and “immediately” in an effort to “solve the last outstanding issues”, Xinhua news agency reported.
The top EU diplomat told reporters that “talks between Iran, the US and the EU will not take place in Vienna because they will not be in the P4+1 format”, referring to the UK, China, France, Russia and Germany.
“The talks will probably take place somewhere closer to the Gulf and more specifically in a Gulf state,” he added
