Chennai : With the Supreme Court giving a green signal for the AIADMK’s proposed 11 July General Council meet, all arrangements are made to conduct the same. A huge panda, is being erected at the venue to accommodate participants. Former Minister and senior leader Benjamin is supervising the arrangements. It may be recalled that the Supreme Court stayed the interim order passed by the Madras High Court, which restrained the AIADMK General Council from passing any resolution. The apex court also allowed the July 11 meeting to proceed in accordance with law. The court also told both the EPS and O Pannerselvam factions to work out the differences. Palaniswami in his plea challenged the Madras High Court order restraining the AIADMK General Council from amending the party bye-laws during its meeting.
