Former AG and Senior Counsel S Vijay Narayan, representing AIADMK interim general secretary Palaniswami, mentioned before Justice N Sathish Kumar for de-sealing the AIADMK headquarters.
OPS and his supporters entered the AIADMK headquarters on Monday morning, a clash erupted between his supporters and his former colleague EPS’s followers. Police removed them from the building and sealed the premises.
Also, a notice has been submitted to banks where the AIADMK accounts are being maintained by interim general secretary EPS stating the Dindigul Srinivasan, who has been appointed as treasurer, is empowered to deal with finances.
However, OPS submitted a plea to the banks stating that he continues to be the co-ordinator and treasurer of the AIADMK and without his knowledge no financial transactions should be allowed to be carried. No other person is authorised to deal with party funds, he stated.
