Defending Champions India defeated Singapore 3-1 in the Men’s team event final to clinch the Gold medal on Tuesday. Men’s doubles pair Harmeet Desai and Sathyan Gnanasekaran defeating Singapore’s Yong Quek and Yew Pang 13-11, 11-7, 11-5 in the Men’s doubles tie, Sharath Kamal then lost the first singles tie to Zhu Yu Clarence Chew, but Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Harmeet Desai ensured there were no further hiccups as they won their respective singles encounters.
