Upgradation of Tirupati Railway Station to be completed by Feb, 2025

The upgradation work of Tirupati Railway Station to cater the needs of the rail passengers for the next 40 years is proceeding at brisk pace and is scheduled to be completed in two years The South Central Railway (SCR), which started the upgradation work in May 2022, said on Tuesday that the work is being monitored at all levels so as to ensure timely completion of the project. The work has been awarded under EPC mode and the entire project is targeted for completion by February, 2025.A new station building is coming up on the South side of the existing station building. After completion of geological survey, setting-up of camp office, concrete lab and storage sheds, remaining works have continued to move in a fast manner.
