Officials of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday held searches at the premises of film production company Lyca, police sources said. Searches were being held in different locations in Chennai, including Adyar, T Nagar and Karapakkam sources said without divulging details. Tere was no immediate response from the production company regarding the raids. According to sources, ED raid is said to be related to a FEMA charge against LYCA which also holds multiple brands including LYCA mobiles. PMLA charge has also been added. LyycaProductions was established by Subaskaran Allirajah in 2014. A subgroup of Lycamobile, the production studio has been involved in the production and distribution of films made in South India.
