SICCI holds AGM in city

The Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) successfully hosted its 113th Annual General Meeting in Chennai. A press release said that AGM began with a panel discussion on Information Security Round Table on “Cyber Security Today Perspectives, Policies & Best Practices”. SICCI organised this Round Table in association with STPI. The AGM was inaugurated and addressed by Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, New Delhi in the presence of Ar Rm Arun, President, SICCI, Lise Talbot Barré, Consul General of France in Pondicherry and Chennai and V N Shiva Shankar, Vice President, SICCI. Ar Rm Arun, President, SICCI started his welcome address by sharing his old memories with Rajeev Chandrasekhar particularly their studies in USA, working experience at Intel Corporation, how both decided to return to contribute to India’s economy unlike others. Their entrepreneurship careers and their passion towards Semiconductors especially in manufacturing.
