Lifeline Hospitals holds screening camp for NCDs


Chennai: Lifeline Hospitals in Chennai conducted a mega screening of  NCD  (noncommunicable  diseases),  and a  super health  checkup  camp,  on  Sunday for the benefit of people of a village called Pothatturpettai.
Using  a contactless,  a high  sense of artificial  intelligence-based  sensor,  10,000 patients were screened over a few hours. The village of Pothatturpettai was chosen as  it is in the relative outback area.
About 1000  volunteers, armed with smartphones, downloaded with the contactless AI sensor, and screened all patients. The event was livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube, attended by the World wide Records panel.
After the  event  at  Pothatturpettai,  close  to Tiruttani,  the valedictory  function  took place at Hotel Le Royal Meridien, in the evening.
Minister of State for External Affairs , Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, and Dr. Kiritbai Solanki, MP and Chairman, Scheduled Caste Commission,  participated. State Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Mr Ma Subramanian, was the guest of honour.
