Stop playing with sentiments of Tamil people, DMK tells Governor

Hours after Tamilnadu Governor RN Ravi returned the file on appointment of Chairman and members of Tamil Nadu Public service commission.l, the DMK took a dig at home alleging that he is playing with the sentiments of Tamil.poeple. Addressing media persons, DMK leader R Bharathi said, ‘It is unfortunate that the Governor is on a warpath. We have list of chairman’s selected for TNPSC since 1930. ‘We have carefully chosen Sylendra Babu to ensure proper representation. Also he has been selected to ensure no misdeeds happen in TNPSC. He has been chosen with utmost care and with a vision. Even after we have given explanation to the queries raised by Governor, he has returned the file, he added. Even today greeting people on Chennai Day, the Governor has addressed the State as Madras. Hi e is playing with sentiments of Tamil people, Bharathi said.
