State Health Minister M Subramanian said strict action will be taken on those doctors and medical workers, who turn up late for their duty. Speaking to reporters at Thisayanvilai Primary Health Centre in Tirunelveli district, the Health Minister said, ‘Those who fail to come on time have to face departmental enquiry. Notice boards in this regard should be kept in all government hospitals, he added. Remember much recently, the Health Minister ruled out re-converting the Tamilnadu Government Multi Super Speciality Hospital (TNGMSSH), Omandurar Estate, Chennai, into State Secretariat.
