NIA officials arrested one more person in connection with car blast case in Coimbatore yesterday.Ever since the blast in October last year, the NIA officials conducted thorough enquiry and made 11 arrests so far. They were lodged in Puzhal prison.
Meanwhile, the investigating officers found out that one Azharuddin (37), a resident of Ukkadam was one of the brain behind the blast. Azharuddin was in Kerala prison for another case.
NIA officials managed to get his custody and brought him to Chennai. He was produced before magistrate in Poonamalle special court and remanded hom to judicial custody in Puzhal prison. He will be enquired soon, say officials.
