New FOB to come up at Kolathur

A new foot-over bridge (FoB) with escalators and elevators at the four-way Senthil Nagar junction on Jawaharlal Nehru Salai will come up in Kolathur. Ramps will be provided for persons with disabilities at the lift entrance on both sides, say officials. The constituency iss represented only by chief Minister M Stalin. This FOB would be constructed at a cost of Rs 13.54 cr and it would have square crossing with elevators and escalators etc. According to a senior officer from the Highways department, the pedestrian facility would be a 5m wide walkway across the carriageway and 3.2m wide stairs on either side of carriageway, escalators and lift on both sides of carriageway.
