BJP leader hits out at EPS

In a recent social media statement, Tamil Nadu BJP Sports Development Wing President Amar Prasad Reddy, who is also known for his close association with Annamalai, has criticized AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami for his alleged involvement in the Kodanad dacoity-cum-murder case. Reddy’s statement came in response to remarks made by AIADMK leader Jayakumar regarding the alliance between AIADMK and Annamalai’s BJP.
Reddy did not mince words as he questioned the suitability of leaders embroiled in controversies like the Kodanad dacoity-cum-murder case to hold positions of leadership within a political party. He stated, “If Jayakumar of AIADMK feels that being embroiled in controversies like the Kodanad dacoity-cum-murder case is a qualification for a party leader, then our leader Annamalai does not have such qualifications.”
The Kodanad dacoity-cum-murder case has been a matter of significant public interest and legal scrutiny in Tamil Nadu. It involves a high-profile break-in and murder at the Kodanad estate, which was frequented by late Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa. The case has had political implications, and various individuals have been named or investigated in connection with it.
Amar Prasad Reddy’s statement underscores the ongoing political tensions in Tamil Nadu as parties gear up for the upcoming elections. The alliance between AIADMK and BJP, led by Annamalai, has been a subject of discussion and contention among political circles and the public.
