The Integral Coach factory in Chennai has been manufacturing Vande Bharat or VB trains coaches successfully. By the end of this October month, ICF will unveil a prototype of VB-like non air-conditioned push-pull train. Now, the prototype is undergoing finishing touches.This VB train prototype would have as many as 22 coaches and it would resemble a VB train in its external appearance. The train would have orange and grey colours replicating the latest VB model. The difference between this prototype VB train and the original VB train would be in comfort and features etc.
It was confirmed by an official from ICF that there would be a locomotive each in front as well as in the rear side. It must be noted that in the conventional trains there would be just one locomotive present in the front to pull the coaches.
