Tamil Nadu water resources minister Durai Murugan said that the state government would demand Karnataka to release 16,000 cusecs of water in the Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA) meeting to be held in New Delhi today.
Speaking to reporters in Chennai, Duraimurugan said that Tamil Nadu will demand the release of 16,000 cusecs of water from Karnataka. âWe will appeal to the CWMA and they will direct the Karnataka government,â he said.
