Passengers planning to travel on the Moore Market Complex (MMC) to Avadi route using Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) trains are advised to take note of upcoming disruptions in service. Essential maintenance and line block work in the MGR Chennai Central and Arakkonam section will result in temporary service changes and cancellations.

This planned disruption is scheduled to take place from 11:15 pm on October 16 until 4:15 am on October 17, affecting several EMU train services in the region.

Here are the key service changes and cancellations during this period:

MMC–Avadi EMU Locals: The EMU locals departing from MMC at 11:30 pm and 11:45 pm, as well as the Pattabiram Military Siding – Avadi EMU local departing at 11:55 pm, will also be fully canceled.

MMC – Avadi EMU Local: The train departing from MMC at 12:15 am on October 17 will be fully canceled.

Pattabiram Military Siding – MMC EMU Local: The train departing from Pattabiram Military Siding at 10:45 pm will be partially canceled between Avadi and MMC on October 16.
