Madras High Court has denied permission for the early morning screening of actor Vijay’s highly anticipated movie ‘Leo’ at 4 AM on October 19, the day of its release. This decision comes amidst growing excitement and expectations surrounding the film.
The court’s decision stems from an appeal made by the authorised signatory of Seven Screen Studios, K Ramachandran. In his plea, he highlighted the massive fan following that actor Vijay enjoys and underscored the film’s immense popularity. The trailer of ‘Leo’ had quickly garnered an astonishing 51 million views on YouTube within just ten days of its release.
While the court has denied the 4 AM screening, it has suggested an alternative course of action. Producers of ‘Leo’ have been advised to approach the State government for permission to hold 7 AM shows from October 19 to October 24.
As fans eagerly await the release of ‘Leo,’ the attention now shifts to the state government’s response to the producers’ request for 7 AM shows.
