DMK govt controlling film industry, alleges EPS

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) while addressing space discussion on micro-blogging site ‘X (formerly known as Twitter space) on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the party accused the ruling DMK of controlling the Tamil film industry. “Puppet Chief Minister Stalin is exerting his family dominance in the film industry. Special permission is given only to films produced by companies owned by the firmer’s family while movies produced by others are denied the same privileges. DMK should stop abuse of power in the film industry,” EPS said while talking about the ongoing row between actor Thalapathy Vijay fans and DMK government over denial of early morning shows for the movie Leo. @@@
