Bengaluru: At least 13 people were killed after the Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) they were travelling rammed into a stationary truck on the outskirts of Chikkaballapur, around 50 kilometer from Bengaluru, early Thursday morning.
The deceased belonged to Gorantla area of Andhra Pradesh’s Sri Sathya Sai district.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the MUV was heading to Bengaluru from Andhra Pradesh and the driver of the vehicle failed to notice the parked truck by roadside due to thick fog, police said.
