On the festive occasion of Diwali, fans of Tamil cinema were treated to a visual spectacle as the makers of the much-anticipated film “Kanguva” unveiled a captivating new poster. Starring Suriya in the lead role, the poster hints at a vibrant and culturally rich narrative.

In the newly revealed poster, Suriya takes center stage, holding a flambeau that illuminates the scene with a warm and inviting glow.

Directed by Siva, Kanguva transcends time, immersing viewers 1500 years into the past. Siva, in an earlier conversation, shared insights into the film’s unique premise, stating, “The film is set in an imaginary world with strong historical references and facts, drawing inspiration from ancient Tamil culture and various elements across India.”

Adding to the film’s visual grandeur is the presence of Disha Patani as the female lead, making her much-anticipated debut in Tamil cinema.

The technical brilliance behind “Kanguva” is evident with cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy, known for his successful collaborations with director Siva. Milan contributes to the film’s production design, while Nishad Yusuf takes charge of editing, ensuring a visually compelling and tightly paced narrative.

Backed by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green and UV Creations, “Kanguva” is not just a regional affair but aims for a wide audience by releasing in 10 languages and in 3D.
