The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has introduced `Metro Margazhi,` a celebration of Tamil culture and heritage scheduled to take place from December 9 to January 1 at various metro stations across the city. This annual event aims to collaborate with artists and groups spanning diverse genres to highlight the rich cultural tapestry of Chennai. In an effort to foster community participation, CMRL has opened its doors to artists and groups from various genres for this year`s festivities. Those interested in contributing to the cultural extravaganza are invited to register through the provided link. The registration deadline is set for November 28, according to a press release from CMRL. The CMRL press note outlined the process, stating, “Based on the submissions received, metro stations will be selected accordingly, and a detailed schedule for the program will be announced at a later date.” @@@@ Power cut areas in city for tomorrow Power supply will be suspended in the following areas on Wednesday (15.11.2023) from 09.00 am to 02.00 pm for maintenance work. Kadapperi : GST Road, Jaya Nagar, Kadaperi Rananathapuram, Moulana Nagar, Rail Nagar, Part of Thiruneermalai Area. Supply will be resumed before 02.00 P.M, if the works are completed. @@@@
